A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new Warroad Liquor Store on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The project consists of a 7,776-square-foot building designed with a focus on customer experience. In contrast to the existing building, the new liquor store will provide an inviting atmosphere with greater product availability, wider aisles, improved lighting, and more efficient checkout. The design allows for special taste testing events and displays to occur. The incorporation of natural lighting and increased insulation in the building assemblies creates an energy-efficient facility for the city, while the exterior incorporates a modern look of materials and colors reflecting the growth occurring throughout the community.
