# Reese, Welch Take on New Roles at Widseth

Widseth named Dave Reese the new manager for the Brainerd Lakes Area office, effective December 1, 2021. Reese was promoted into the role Tim Ramerth vacated when he was named president of the firm.

A civil engineer licensed in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin, Reese has been with Widseth since 1996. He had been serving as the office’s civil engineering department manager—a role that will now be filled by Aric Welch. Welch, a civil engineer licensed in Minnesota, has been with Widseth for 23 years.
