A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 20 to celebrate the completion of the renovations project at the Warrior Early Learning Center. The repurposing of this building, which used to be the Baxter Elementary school, provides the space necessary for the district's growing early childhood program. Removing a portion of the existing building allowed the pick-up/drop-off area to be reconfigured, more parking spaces were added, and the main office was relocated with a controlled entry to improve safety and efficiency for students and staff. Facility maintenance on select items inside and on the exterior of the building were also part of the overall project. Widseth provided pre-referendum services, district-wide design standards, land surveying, civil engineering, and architecture through the design development phase.
