A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on January 18 to celebrate the newly constructed Willmar Events & Recreation Center and Recreation Fields. Widseth was involved in the Recreation Fields project, which includes two turf football fields, four softball fields, and a concessions building. Future projects include a curling center, outdoor rink/pavilion, inflatable dome over one of the football fields, and dome entry.
